Internet Explorer security scare

Skip to comments | Posted in uncategorized

Today, a security flaw has been announced in Microsoft Internet Explorer, which is so serious it could potentially enable a hacker remote access to files on your computer.

We therefore recommend switching across to Mozilla Firefox, which is available for free, at least until the security scare is over.

We always recommend using Firefox anyway, not only because it is generally regarded as more secure, but also because it is faster and is more standards compliant.

Now we know that 'standards compliant' doesn't sound very sexy, but if all web browsers adopted the standards, it would take us (and every other web developer in the world) less time to complete each website which would mean lower cost, lower stress websites for everybody.  Now wouldn't that be nice?
