
Tablet users spend 50% more than smartphone owners

A recent study reported on by Fast Company shows that a tablet user may spend up to 50% more than a smartphone user when shopping online. This may be because tablet users are more likely to have a higher disposable income (let's face it, nobody NEEDS a tablet), and also that they spend more time browsing the internet.
It’s an interesting development and a strong argument for designing and building your ecommerce site to cater to tablet users.
